MUSE
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026
Draft for review before public launch.
Muse is a small community where people share photos and draw each other. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We don't sell your information and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and an account identifier from Apple or Google if you sign in with them. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email", we only receive the relay address Apple gives us.
- What you share: your artist name and bio, photos and drawings you post, captions, comments, likes, reactions, follows, blocks and reports.
- Sign-in records: secure session records so you stay signed in, and short-lived sign-in links.
- Basic technical logs: our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address and time) to keep the service running and secure.
What stays on your device
Drafts, your private sketchbook, reference photos you use only for drawing, studio preferences and earned studio themes are stored in your browser or app on your device. They are not uploaded unless you choose to share a drawing.
How we use it
Only to run Muse: to sign you in, show your posts to other members, deliver drawings to the person who was drawn, keep the community safe (reviewing reports, enforcing blocks and limits), and to contact you about your account.
Who can see what
Posts, your artist name and bio, comments and reactions are visible to signed-in Muse members, except people you've blocked or who have blocked you. Your email address is never shown to other members.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare to host Muse and store its database and images, Resend to send sign-in emails, and Apple and Google if you choose to sign in with them. They process data only to provide those services to us.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in Profile โ Your account โ Delete account. That permanently removes your account, profile, posts and their images, comments, likes, reactions, follows, reports you made, and drawings that were sent to you. Drawings other artists made of your photos remain theirs; you can block them or report a drawing at any time.
Children
Muse is for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, delete posts, block people, and delete your account in the app. Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information; contact us and we will help.
